About the project

In partnership with ATOS Prayas Foundation, Empower Foundation implemented a multi-centre skill development and employability programme across several states. The programme included mobilisation, counselling, verification, structured theoretical and practical training, life skills development, assessments, certification, and large-scale placement drives. Continuous engagement with trainees and employers supported successful job placements and strengthened employability for youth across multiple job roles.

About the project

Mission Sunehra Kal was designed to enhance workplace readiness and facilitate employment for local youth in Bihar. Implemented in collaboration with ITIs, the programme focused on demand-driven, industry-relevant sectors to enable sustainable livelihood opportunities. Participants received domain-specific training across Retail, Logistics, BFSI, IT/ITeS, and E-commerce, integrated with soft skills, communication, financial literacy, and digital literacy modules. The Vikalp Project strengthens environmental sustainability while creating livelihood opportunities for informal workers. About the project

Castrol India’s community development initiative, is active in Silvassa-Sayali and Rakholi, focusing on the holistic upliftment of tribal communities. Through adult literacy, school support, and awareness sessions, it strengthens educational foundations. The project also fosters savings and entrepreneurship via Self-Help Groups (SHGs), guiding them toward sustainable livelihoods.

Now in Phase VI, it has impacted 4,454 lives over five years. Key focus areas include literacy, women’s empowerment, skill development, financial literacy, and health awareness—aligned with proven strategies for poverty alleviation.
